But look, I've talked too much about the weather this month there is a story in the

newspaper rundown today about the weather but it's in Greece we'll come to it in a few minutes

time to the front pages of the UK dailies the tabloids and the broadsheets, the eye paper today. Labor set to announce big

cuts to public services in UK is the headline. Labor is braced to announce significant

spending cuts in many Whitehall departments if Labour wins power at next month's general election.

This is after Labour has repeatedly ruled out major tax rises. Labour will unveil its manifesto

today. The eye paper says that Rachel Reeves, who will be the Chancellor, if Labour wins power,

will be forced into really difficult decisions on services in this autumn's budget if she becomes Chancellor.

Now, last night, in Grimsby, in Grimsby, there was an election event hosted by Sky News, presented by Beth Rigby, where she took it in turn to interview, in turns to interview first of all, Kier Starrmer of Labour, and then he fielded questions from the audience.

Then he exited stage left. On came Prime Minister at Rishi Sunak.

He was grilled by Rigby and then he faced questions too. A snap poll afterwards found two-thirds

of those watching felt that Kier Starrmer won the event, came across better and more prime ministerial.

Now, Starmour, when speaking with Beth Rigby, seasoned hack for Sky News, she did a pretty

decent job, it must be said.

On Sky News, I did watch it or most of it, because there was nothing else on.
