I'm on the road.

So if the audio sounds a little bit different to the

audience, that's why I'm in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, on spring break, which is

a thing that adults still get to do provided those adults work in academia.

So spring break is weird, man.

Like, it's sort of a college feeling in that you feel pressure to do something cool in the same way you felt pressure to do something cool when you were in college except that I'm old now and I feel like I shouldn't feel the same pressure but but yet there it is

I'm really looking forward to my kids being able to travel for spring break without me

Because right now they're on spring break which basically means I have to

figure out how to do my job and make them happy at the same time that's a

challenge yeah keeping keeping the happy under the best of circumstances is a challenge but yeah you throw in like your job there at home

Yeah, it's crazy man. It truly is so

So yeah we have we have dropped the kids with grandparents for a little bit and are enjoying a little

bit of time away.

But Piper, one thing that people will say about this or could say about it is that it's an adventure.

That's a thing that people say about a lot of things.

About everything as far as I can tell.

Dude, yeah, everything is an adventure.

Why is this?

When in fact really nothing is an adventure.
