All right you guys here we go it's episode number 188 now of the Ron and Dawn show. He's

Ron. I'm Don. We are live from the Leschwab studios live on Queen Ad Mountain and thanks for stopping by during the holidays and sharing some holiday time with us.

If you don't know what to make real quick before we get to the show, I just want to remind you,

my brother, he was in the eighth grade, I was in the fifth grade, and my dad had left, my mom was around,

but not a lot because she was working, and so we learned to make surprise pie. How do you make

surprise pie? You take the old pie crust that's been there for probably three, four,

five Thanksgiving, it's sitting in your freezer. You're gonna take that, this is my

brother Jack would do, and you going to put that in a pan.

So you got the old pie crust in the pan.

Now what you do is you go to your mother's pantry, you just find whatever you can.

You're going to find some lime beans in there.

You're going to find some chicken, noodle soup. You're going to find some Chef noodle soup. You're going to find some

Chef Boy R. D. whatever else you'd like to add to the surprise pie. You're going

to put that in and then what you're going to do is you're going to go back in the

freezer because that pie crust always comes in twos or threes so you're going to take a second

pie crust now you're going to put that over the top of the compost that you just put inside.
