Hey, everybody. Welcome to you were born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo, Mary

Guilfoyle. We are a couple of missionaries with Acts 29, and this is the podcast where we talk

about anything and everything having to do with transformation in the church. Happy Fourth of July,

Mary. Happy Fourth of July to you too, Father John.

So we got a, hopefully a timely topic for folks in these summer months this time when I pray.

Folks are taking an opportunity to rest a little bit, get away.

I know we in Acts 29 are doing that, especially

this week. We try to give one another the gift of a chance just to breathe and to

kind of close up shop a little bit. So what's our topic? Our topic today is the physician

is the medicine. Ooh, the physician is the medicine. Let's pray, shall we?

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Oh, Father, we do thank you for the many gifts that you have so lavishly bestowed upon us

for the gift of life.

We thank you in a special way for the gift of this land that we are able to live in,

for the many freedoms that we enjoy, especially today as we celebrate the 4th of July. We thank you most especially for the

freedom that your son has won for us, the freedom from the power of death, the freedom from

the power of sin, the freedom that we have to be for you and for others

because of these things that we've been rescued from.

Well, we just ask that you'd pour out your grace upon us right now, that we would, even in this conversation,

that we would experience your son, Jesus, calling us into deeper and deeper

friendship, not just with him, but with you and with your spirit. We ask all this through Christ,

our Lord. Amen. In the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. Amen. So, you know, let me just
