Oftentimes in orphan care, we want to kind of shock in awe people by sharing the biggest numbers we can find, when in reality, what we

should be doing is sharing the smallest numbers we can find. We should be going to our pastor saying,

pastor, we've got 30 kids in foster care in our county. We've got 12 of them who need forever

families. And there are 22 churches in our county. So what would it look like for us to work together with a few other churches and make sure that that small number of kids have ideal foster placements, have adoptive families, those that need it?

Because what that looks like for our individual church is our church taking care of one or two or three kids.
