Greetings good friends and neighbors, and welcome to walking the floor. I'm Chris

Schiplet and today I'm gonna be talking with photographer, director, and now host of

his own talk show off camera my friend Mr. Sam Jones

but first I just want to say thanks to everybody that came out to those dead

peasants gigs we did up in Santa Barbara at the Soho and down in Silver Lake at the Grand Old Echo.

They were both super fun and sadly we don't have any gigs booked at all right now and nothing on the horizon.

So we've got to remedy that situation soon.

And you know up in Santa Barbara, we had a very special guest, very special guest in the audience that night.

And I'm glad I didn't know he was there before we went on stage because I would have been nervous as all get out. But Brad

Paisley was there. Brad Paisley. Country royalty. A Ripper, a guitarist's guitarist, Brad Paisley. So I'm glad I didn't know he was

there because I would have been blowing my Don Rich licks left and right. But he came up afterwards and said some nice things and of

course I hit him up to be on the podcast so he said he'd do it. We'll see.

I'm going to definitely try to get him to stick to that. So look for that soon on walking the floor.

All right, let's get to Sam Jones a few years back when our kids were attending the same preschool.
