That's me. I'm Father John. I'm the executive director at Acts 29.

When we talk about anything and everything having to do with transformation in the church, I'm here on this day after Mother's Day with my

partner admission, Mary Gilfoyle, Mary belated happy Mother's Day. Thank you, Father John.

And happy Grandmother's Day, although I think that's actually its own day now, isn't it?

Every day is Grandmother's Day. That's what I understand from all the pictures that you keep

showing around to the team, but it's a great joy to see the little boys growing. So praise

God. Thanks, Father. So challenging times we're living in right now, challenging the last

couple of days, interesting weekend with what's been going on, especially with regards to the

leak of the Supreme Court draft with regards to Roe versus Wade. So given all that, what's our topic?

Yes, our topic today, Father John, is conducting ourselves with grace in the midst of trials.

Oh, may it be so. And we need prayer. So how about we open up in prayer, Father. Yeah, indeed. In

the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Father, we come before you in this month of May asking in a very special way for the intercession of our lady,

for ourselves that we would continue to come to know you and to love you and to look more and more like your son.

And in a special way for our country in this time of confusion and anger and unrest we ask especially

that through her prayers we would strive to always conduct ourselves as men and women who follow your son and not imitate the world, which can so often

be tempting to do.

We just ask for your blessing on our conversation right now that it would be edifying,

encouraging.

We ask it all in Jesus' name.
