On August 28, 2020 Doren Sanford was out searching for his missing dog Groot when suddenly Doren disappeared as well. His family has not seen or heard from him since and according to the Alaska State Troopers, foul play is suspected. If you have any information about what happened to Doren you are urged to call the Alaska State Troopers at 907-451-5100 or the Fairbanks Police department at 907-450-6500. You can also report a tip anonymously on the Alaska State Trooper website here:
