Hey everybody, it's John here and before we get into today's episode, I have two quick

updates about the content of today's episode from Tiger King.

First, we talk about an eighth episode of Tiger King maybe coming out.

It turns out it actually is out as of today.

So you can go and watch that right now.

Just wanted to make sure you guys didn't send us messages like, hey, by the way, it's

already out.

What are you talking about?

The second and maybe most important part that we wanted to update is that when we recorded

this episode, we refer to a subject in the documentary by the name credited on screen,

which is Kelsey Saf Safry.

So based on the name, we speak about this person using feminine pronouns.

After we recorded this episode, we saw that Saf did interviews insisting that we use

masculine pronouns like he or him.

Saf also goes as far as to criticize Netflix for not making this clear in the documentary.

So we apologize for any misgendering that happened during this conversation.

We were simply just not aware based on what we were presented in the documentary.

And as all you guys know, Darren and I are gay and identify as male and female respectively,

and would never want to misgender somebody.

And thank you, Saf, for speaking out about gender identity because it does seem to be missed

a little too often in media these days.
