Hello and welcome to episode 17 of Pillows and Beer. I am Austin and as always, maybe not as always, with my heterosexual life mate Craig.

Yeah, it is Pride Month and so yes, I am a heterosexual but since you brought that up all the time we love everybody.

And I am a big proponent of loving who you want to fucking love and living the life you want to live as this store that we are recording from right now stands for and I know that Nick sitting here Austin sitting here feels the same way.

We are going to move our location a little later to do an interview with one of our best friends Paulina Gretzki.

That is going to be a lot of fun Austin we have been talking about doing that interview for months now. I feel like you and I have been talking about this for so long and we keep on teasing the Aspen trip and talking about this and I went at that.

And now finally the cool thing about her and what I can respect about what she wants to do is that she was like I don't want to do with the all over the phone or on the internet or Zoom.

And she was like I want to be there and this is the week PGA championship week obviously her man as she likes to call her man is playing in Kewa so I'm going to offer a dozen Johnson is her man is her man's and so she is super excited and she's like guys I'm doing it this week and you know she's kind of like us in this sense that we can say that you never doing something but she's doing it she's doing it and we're stoked about it can't wait.

We're pumped I mean look it's we we got to go to Patricia's yesterday for little champagne drinking as Paulina is a fan of the show which is awesome and I love when friends are fans because you know there's no shame it's like yeah we love the show and how about when we're fans too yeah and we're fans and of course we're fans of that definitely and we never forget I'll never forget that when I met Paulina last year and Aspen not not this most recent trip but last year.

And we looked up our Instagram's right and she's like I'm going to follow you right and she's a fan you're a fan so I was like girl don't play you know maybe not you know because she probably just didn't know she was like you know you're a peasant and and I was already following her.

And okay so when we met them last year not this past year and we're sitting there and it was the year 2020 2019 and we took a picture together and she was like you know tag me and I was like okay and I pulled her up and and I was already following her and she was like Justin C you know and she hit us on him she was like people think I'm cool and I was like yeah I'm following you for a couple of years all my friends are following you it's all good and she just started laughing

and but and and that's you know Paulina and then just kind of find out that that we're all great friends and it's just really funny yeah so yeah that was a very good people and they're in town Dustin's practicing Paulina is going to come back down to record with us which was really cool like I said we've been trying to do this for a while

but it's something we wanted to do in person and it's going to happen today which is great the store is going to get a little loud so we're going to go over to Austin's house to record the interview.

But we're here right now in this door it's fun we're on our fourth day being open there's people walking through the door yeah let's talk about that for a second you know episode 16 I was not around I did not want to track from Craig's opening amongst other things

and I tried to I tried to steal your thunder so hard Craig I came in a few days and I was like okay I'm here where's my line

and unfortunately they wouldn't cue for me they kept on cue and for Craig well we it was so it was amazing man it was amazing and also had a big big grass you Craig you know

well or had a big not a big not a big wake up moment but I feel like a good thing where he and I hadn't spoken in a little while

and he walked in and I still had his beer on tap here and I feel like I saw his face when he walked in he doesn't know that I saw his reaction

but he like walked in the store and then he like turned his head and saw our tap handle that said drop up and I saw his reaction and he was like what the fuck

oh but how about you tell everyone about that moment yeah I mean I saw your face and you didn't know I saw you but I was like yes that's how yeah I I I

I come off a big month and I knew that Craig was busy all you know crazy busy all week I mean the opening up a storefront on King Street just think about you know the biggest like main thoroughfare in your town that's King Street for us

and you know just getting ready and then for all the people that are expected to show up in this net so so I certainly did not want to bother them you know what's ever because I knew just a crazy busy he had to quake but friends and family I was like you better believe that I'm showing up to this I you know with her without me you probably had some anxiety that day definitely yeah a little bit of anxiety because I I didn't heard from you or or cherry well we all get put in time out sometimes and we have to I do sometimes a new
