I don't think there's any one of us here that doesn't need rest, Lord.

But not a physical rest, Lord.

Only that rest that you can provide for us, Lord, where you calm our spirits.

You ease our minds. Lord, would we lift up our burdens to you the weights

that we're carried some of it we choose to Lord would you please help us not to

fight you and will we give it all give it it all to you, Jesus. Speak to us in your

word this evening, Lord. We praise your name. We thank you for this time of worship. In Jesus

day, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Well, good evening to you. Welcome. Glad you're here. You can be seated. Those of you

online, we're so glad that you're joining with us. Before we get started, I want to let you know

that our prayer meeting is this coming Tuesday, September 2nd. And note, especially for those of you online, the start time of 7 p.m., not 7.30.

And I am Lord willing, heavy on the Lord willing, planning on doing a teaching titled praying in and through pain and

suffering and it was birthed over the last month and a half or so as many you know, my wife Kelly has been battling a very

aggressively spreading form of cancer for the last two years now actually. While several

people have been requesting an update,

we were waiting on the Lord for the right time

to provide you with that update,

and that time is now.

And we decided it was time to both update you

and also express our profound gratitude to you

for all of your, I mean overwhelming love and support

and more importantly prayer.
