coaches can now pray on the 50-yard line after their games.

If they win, they say a prayer of thanks.

They say, Heavenly Father, God damn you to all hell for not letting these boys win this game.

I told you this was a title quarterfinal championship game and we practiced and practiced.

And Lord, you snatched

victory from the jobs to defeat and then you gave us defeat in the place of victory.

I shun you, Lord. I shun you and my players shun you.

They can do that now. No separation of church and state.

No. And, you know, apparently the environmental stuff that's coming down the pike is going to be nice

is just going to blow people away.

It's pretty hard not to be discouraged this week, you know, especially after Friday's news.

You know, in spite of everything, I think people like us were raised in a time,

maybe because when we were young, it was still in the aftermath of the civil rights legislation

and stuff.
