Welcome to Dead Pilot Society, the show that takes comedy pilots from A-list writers that were sold and developed at networks and streamers but never produced and gives them the table reads they never got a chance to have.

I'm Andrew Reich, the creator and host of Dead Pilot Society.

It was a great show at the Elysian a couple weeks ago.

These live shows are so much fun. Hopefully we'll be announcing the next one soon.

We're bringing you one of the pilots we read at that live show this month. It's called Common Enemy,

and it was written by Jordan Roder. Jordan is the author of the young adult novels, Girl in Development and Camp Rules.

She wrote on Watchful Eye and on American Housewife.

Jordan and I met on the picket line during the strike, and she sent me this great dead pilot,

which we were so excited to bring to life.

It's a network family show,

but it definitely pushes the envelope of what you can do on network TV. I responded right away

to just how specific the characters were and just the great energy that the script has

right from the beginning. The live audience really loved it.
