We were looking at battle number eight, which we started last episode, looking at the Battle of

Chickamauga, but Chickamauga and Chattanooga really are grouped together. And this is number

eight on our list because after Chickamauga, which is a Confederate

victory, that's not really the end of it because Union forces retreat in a Chattanooga

where the battle is going to conclude. So let's pick up from there. James, what's happening?

Well, Rose Cranes is still smarting from being completely defeated by the Confederates

at Chickamauga. It was a total union defeat. There was, there's just no redeeming feature.
