So, about a year ago, I decided that it was finally time to dye my hair pink. And I can't

even explain to you the amount of stress and agonizing and fear and anxiety that went into the

decision to do it, to finally do it. I'd wanted to dye my hair pink for as long as I can remember.

I actually remember, like, when Manic Panic first started to become popular in my world was

around the 90s when I was in high school. And everyone was dying their hair with these really

cool funky colors, pink, purple, blue. And I always really admired those kids that did that.

You know, the kind of like punk rock

kids who just really didn't care, went for it. They were super artistic and creative. But I was

never really bold enough to do it myself. And I think there's a lot of reasons why. I think I was

really insecure at the time. I was kind of like awkward and like a little chubby and I just

I didn't really want to draw attention to myself physically. So doing something like dyeing my hair

pink was like completely out of the question. But as I got older and I started to become more self-assured

and become more confident in who I am, especially when I left my full-time job and I realized,

all right, like nothing's stopping me here. I could have crazy hair. I could shape my head. I could have a red mohawk. I mean, I could

literally do whatever I want. I'm my own boss. And the idea of pink hair started to resurface for me

probably about two years ago. And I posted a picture on Instagram and of this girl, you know, I had like a million
