and take all but two dresses that she had to wear for four months, humiliating her.

I mean, to be honest, I wear the same two dresses.

I kind of wear the same thing every day too, especially now.

Well, especially now, but even then, you have your two favorite dresses that you just throw on.

Right. I mean, I do. But when you're in high school, it's more everyone's seeing you.

No one sees me, so it doesn't really matter exactly. I just wear what's most comfortable right now.

Absolutely. So, but she had to wear the same two dresses for four months and she was mortified.

She's like 14 years old, 13 years old at this point. So, this is like a humiliating thing for her

to have to endure. By 1952, Joan had left Warner Brothers and she hadn't done a film as good as

Mildred Pierce, which was back in 1945. So, she wasn't doing like these successful films during the

last few years she was with Warner Brothers. And she just was like all these scripts that you're
