Born and raised in Toledo, the pride of Toledo Ohio. He's got two brands, Midwest kids and

also his name, say Darrell Brown. And he's partnered up with Adidas for a special activation

all-star weekend. We got to let you Darrell Brown in the building. What's going on,

your man? So what's up? Thank you for having me, man. We appreciate you. This is amazing.

So before we get in the interview, I got to ask you came through obviously fitted with the kicks,

bro. You got to tell me about them shoes, man. What's going on with these? So I'm wearing my second

shoe with Adidas slated to come out later on this year. We're aiming for the summer. It's a

campus low. I went with a gum sole because I just before I started wearing Adidas, I mean like

really wearing them. I will always wear like the skater shoes. And they always had the gum

sole. So I went with the gum sole. I went with a Jay stone green because my father, he worked at

Chrysler for like 20, 30 years retired, but his uniform was a Jay. I'm junior. He's 10 years,

so I put his name on it. I feel like it was, you know, he worked at the factory autumn years

to like provide for me and my little brothers and sisters. It would be like, it's like homage,

fan back homage. Here I am years later. I got my own shoe, put it the same color as his uniform

and put his name on it. You know what I mean? Do you have those? No, I don't have these. No,

no, I can't. I got it with today's drop. I'm going to have these. You got to know what I got,

So you born and raised Toledo, you were a track star before making the move into fashion.

Yeah, but I want to know, how did the Midwest kind of impact you, your roots, your style and
