And today I'm interviewing Dan Barlow.

Can you say hello?

Well, hello, everybody.

We're going to get into your whole story, but just tell us a brief introduction of who you are, where you're living, where you're from.

All right.

So first of, my name's Dan Barlow.

I am residing in South Jordan, currently. A little bit of background on me. I came from the

community down in Colorado, City, Arizona. Most people know the FLDS religion. That's my background.

Sent away, kicked out, however you want to word it.

At 16 years old, I'm now 22.

So the experience is a few years behind me, and they're just, you know, the general.

I moved to Logan when I first got kicked out, and that's where my roots started,

where I made most of my friendships and a lot of my story and my experience took place there. So I've now lived in South Jordan for

last two years. Well, we're going to get into it. You would be considered what a lot of people

would call a lost boy. Is that accurate? Yeah, in the general sense of the word. I think my experience was

quite a bit different than most, I guess, young men that would consider themselves lost boys.

But yeah, in the general sense of the word, I guess you could say that. Okay, well, let's just,

let's go ahead and get started. So walk us through the very beginning.

You were born, were you born actually in the creek? Yes, I was born in Hildow, and a lot of people from

Hildale would know the name Lydia, Jessup, and she was the midwife of the community for 40-plus years.
