This is the first episode of the Remnant Podcast as a product of our new media venture, The Dispatch.

Don't want to quite call it a magazine, don't want to quite call it a media company.

There's that line from The Simpsons where Marge asked her French bowling instructor,

Branche, what is it? And he says something along lines of no one quite knows.

It's not quite breakfast and it's not quite lunch, but you get a slice of cantaloupe at the end and something like that.

So we're sort of that. So as you can tell I'm tired, but I'm not a tired as Steve Hayes, technically my partner in a totally platonic sense,

but not that there would be anything wrong with that, but also technically my boss, because he's the CEO of The Dispatch.

Steve, welcome back.

That should scare everybody.

Yeah, I know exactly.

And the CEO of anything. No, it's good to be back.

There's another line where there's another famous movie where they say it wasn't Branche, what is it?

But it's a series of those things in airplane where it's like the hospital, what is it?

Well, it's a big building where the treat's sick.

That's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Not as good as the Simpsons reference.

Or an anchor man.

Look, I'm really bad at pop culture references generally, so almost all of them come from airplane.

I'm just happy to throw one in right here.
