Good morning and welcome to another edition of Best on Tour this week, presented by Best on Tour,

where we talk about what happened on and off the water in the world of professional bass fishing.

I'm your host Matt Pengrack, along with Dave Rush from Best on Tour.

And Dave, we're going to kick off today's show with a little bit of sad news from the bass

fishing world as a former classic champion, FLW title winner and really an icon in the sport from an iconic family in the

sport has passed away at the age of 59 yeah Dionne Hibden passes away in 1997 bass

Bassmaster Classic champion 2000 FLW Cup champion and a son of the legendaryito Hibden, Hibden family, synonymous with

tournament fishing and bass fishing there in the Ozarks and really nationwide.

This kind of the lore of the Hibgens was a big deal.

But unfortunately, Dion had some health problems and passed away, untimely, very young age.

So he will be missed.

A lot of great articles out there, you know, honoring the late Dion Hibden.

Highly suggest that if you are familiar with him, you take a look at those and kind of recount his life, his career.

And, you know, our thoughts and prayers are certainly with the Hibden family and all of his

family and friends.

Yes, MLF, BASS, friends have put a lot of great tributes out to Dion.
