This week we're going to look ahead to next summer and talk about rosters.

A roster for World Cup qualifiers that start in June for the Olympics, hopefully,

for the Gold Cup and for the U20 World Cup, also hopefully. We are looking at an embarrassment of

riches when it comes to men's national team soccer in 2021. Greg what are your

sort of first principles? You did all the work on this you figured out who you think should go with

which team?

My first principles are that this is a fun experiment.

Okay. That was my first principles because you know we're talking about we're talking about a bunch of tournaments of full club season away and a lot I think is going to change between now and then.

So it was kind of fun to just be like, all right, well, I'm going to anticipate certain things happening and then go from there.

The principals, I think, Berthalter is working from first and foremost

are World Cup qualifying over everything and he's he has said as much. Yeah and

that's obviously the right choice. That's the yeah that has to the right choice.

That's the right.

That's the right place.

I have to go with World Cup qualifying first.

Yeah, he's gonna have to get creative because

what we don't think one player will play end up playing in for instance

qualifiers and the gold cup and the Olympics right I think it I think that would be really minimal.

If it happens, it might happen with players at the fringes, but I don't think like our key players could
