Hey listeners welcome to episode 134 of a whole view. It's a little bit different this week. I am giving a life

update based on having had Dr. Lyons on the show about a year ago. Since having Dr. Lyons on the

show I have really intentionally added protein to my life and I can tell you it has made a difference in my overall well-being, my energy, and generally I wanted to share some of the ways that I have

incorporated more protein that have been really effective for me.

So I actually shared on social media because I felt like I went through this journey with

Diet Culture where I needed to let go of so many things and allow my body to really intuitively tell it what it wants.

And part of that journey as the recognition that sometimes it tells you it wants really healthy things.

I still love date balls. This week I made date balls and I added protein powder to it and they were

were delicious and I called them energy bites and they made me so happy.

And another thing that I really love is making cottage cheese edible cookie dough.

I know it sounds so weird but these are the kinds of things that I have seen,

whether it's on Tik-Tock or whatever, a recipe,

and allowed myself to be like,

that sounds like something I might like,

and it will benefit my well-being and my health. Yeah, I'm going to give it a try.

So another of the ways that I have allowed myself to add more protein, so I've got these little snack things that I'm doing.

Also, I would be remiss to not mention my Ninja Creamy and making some fun evening treats although I'll tell you I have recently

then really on track with not eating within several hours before bedtime and it has helped my sleep so much.

So I just want to encourage you to instead of thinking about these things as being

restrictive or related to diet culture and all of these things,
