What a time.

It is a time.

You know, this is an episode that we put to a vote on our Patreon.

We picked films that all in one way or another dealt with politics, with a semblance of democracy, of the masses having their say or lack of say. And they live by John Carpenter, came out strong,

stayed out strong. And here we are talking about it tonight. And like most things in a democracy,

it's not usually the thing you think is going to happen.

It's the thing you all vote on. And we're all working with it. Yeah. Sometimes it's the worst case scenario. But, you know, we're hanging on. We're pulling through. We're doing the work.

We're going to continue to do the work, which is, I think, the best any of us can expect of

ourselves at the moment. And I will say, I mean, obviously best any of us can expect of ourselves at the moment.

And I will say, I mean, obviously we're Canadian if you didn't know that already.

So I'm sure some of you out there are like, why do you two care so much about the American

election that just happened? Why is anyone that upset about it?

And that's because to paraphrase a quote that used to be said about France, when the U.S. sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold.

Yeah, it's very, very true.

And the U.S. is having a fucking seizure.
