horror film, May.

This film was written and directed by Lucky McKee.

McKee's first film, May was picked up by Lionsgate after a successful showing at Sundance

Film Festival.

Although, with its dark comedy and heavy subject matter, this film did not do as well as hoped at the box office.

Despite being considered a financial failure, May has found its way into the hearts of many

horror fans as a modern cult classic. This film was requested to us by friend of the show and

when to go get her, Dylan.

So what did you guys think of May the first time you saw it?

So I had never heard of this movie at all.

Really?

Didn't know it existed.

I didn't know anything about it.

I told your sister because she was like,

what did you tell me yesterday that it's 20 years? Yeah. 20 years old. This, yeah, this year.

Yeah. I was like, I honestly thought that this was a movie that was made like recently in the

past couple years. Well, it's got this weirdly timeless feel to her.

Yeah. Yeah, there's nothing about it that really dates it.
