0:28.1	And we will kick things off by talking about the bass press release that came out with
0:33.9	information regarding the 2026 Bassmaster opens.
0:38.3	Yeah, Matt, plenty of news for bass fishing fans coming out last week,
0:42.6	including the schedule and formatting for the 2006 Bassmaster opens,
0:49.8	two divisions as there were last year,
0:52.3	but a few wrinkles in the schedule and the rules.
0:56.5	Division one kicks off January 29th on the Kissimmee chain. That will be a no forward facing
1:03.2	sonar event. April 1st, Lake Ufala. That will be a forward facing event April 30th Lake Norman and North Carolina no
1:12.5	forward facing sonar at that event and August 20th on Lake Erie forward facing sonar will
1:18.7	be allowed in that event division two also a powerful schedule actually kicking off February 19th on Sam Rayburn where anglers will be able to use forward facing sonar.
1:33.3	April 23rd of one of your favorites, Grand Lake, no forward facing sonar in the mix on Grand.
1:39.2	May 20th, Pickwick Lake out of Tennessee.
1:42.8	Forward facing sonar will be okay on that fishery and June 18th
1:46.8	headed back to the Upper Mississippi River with no forward-facing sonar. So taking a page out of
1:52.5	the Bassmaster Elite Series book, splitting the schedule as it pertains to forward-facing sonar use.
1:58.8	So big news coming out of Bass as far as the
2:02.0	2026 open schedule and play a big role on who qualifies for the 202027 elite series.
