A HUGE weekend in pro wrestling for all three companies back in early August 1996. The WWF was preparing for Summer Slam with a main event of Shawn Michaels vs. Vader, WCW was in the beginning stages of nWo takeover mode and ECW was slowly changing the game one show at a time from the bingo hall in South Philly. This week we look at the WWF House Show loop through Canada, WCW's Texas shows and a memorable Monday Nitro from MGM Studios and ECW's The Doctor is In. What a time to be a wrestling fan!

1:42.3 | for digestion purposes to look at some of the other things going around the wrestling world in 96 because it kind of sets the tone for what was going on in the WWF. |
1:53.0 | And sticking with this 1996 year, it's almost fitting because we looked at how the WWF was on the rise with November over the last few weeks, |
2:02.3 | the last couple shows, last week with Hughesy specifically. |
2:05.3 | But going back to August, only a few months before, man, this company looks a lot different, |
