Lord, thank you.

Yes, Lord, you have done great things, Lord.

Thank you for this time and this place.

This is a great thing that we can come together and worship you and praise you, Lord.

But Lord, we thank you that we can come and hear your word, your living word, that is timeless, applicable back then and again today, Lord.

So Holy Spirit, guide us as we jump into your word this morning, Lord.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray, amen.

Amen. Amen. Good morning. Welcome. You can be seated. So glad you're here. Those of you online, we're so glad that you're joining us. Before we get started, I want to mention two things that I had already announced Tuesday at our prayer meeting and then again on Thursday

at our Bible study, the first of which is that we would covet your prayers for my wife, Kelly,

who has been battling breast cancer. I hope you know this about us. If you don't, you need to know this about us.

We're not seeking pity, only prayer.

We've known about it for several months, but now it is spreading into the lymph nodes.

We didn't go public with this back in the summer because we didn't

want any unnecessary attention. My amazing wife, for those of you who know her, she's amazing.

For those of you who don't know her, she's amazing,

but she's also very private.

And just amazingly quite, wait, what?

You guys laughed too quick on that one.

But she, keep in mind we've been married for 35 years, we recorded for two, we've been together
