today is going to fit in perfect with this novena that we're in the middle of, right?

Yeah, we have a rather provocative topic today, I think.

We're just going to pose the question like, how comfortable would we be in the first century

church?

Not very.

Father, before we jump in.

In the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, Father in these great days this time, which we not only call to mind that gap between the ascension of your son and our Lord, but also the outpouring of the

spirit. So we pray for an outpouring of the spirit upon us, upon the whole church, upon the

Holy Father, upon all his brother bishops, upon our leaders and the local churches that we

belong to, upon all priests and deacons,

all laymen and women baptized in the name of your son. Lord, we just pray for that same fire,

courage, joy, enthusiasm, trust, and confidence that filled the early church to fill us now in these days in
