Would you keep our eyes open? Our minds clear, Lord, and our focus on you you as pastor delivers the word this morning Lord

we're so glad that you are.

Trust that you'll all be blessed that you did and we're just glad to have you.

So before we begin by way of a Maui update, I want to refer you to our Thursday night video.

For those of you that were not here,

we were so blessed to have Pastor Steve Santos with us for the evening. So that video is

on our social media platforms and also the website. We actually talked by phone this morning. You wanted me to make sure that I thanked all of you for just encouraging him,

loving on him and Kim while they were here showing them such love and hospitality.

They just kind of needed that little bit of respite, which they were able to get,

once I left him alone, quit bugging him. I think he blocked me. No, didn't block me. But anyway,

so just on behalf of Pastor Stephen, his wife, Kim, thank you very much. You, I've said this

and I mean this and the Lord knows my heart when I say this, you make the pastorate a joy.

You guys make the pastoring of this, I didn't say pastoring. I said pastoring of this church, such a joy.

And I always tell people that if I wasn't the pastor of this church, as is my privilege to be,

this is where I would go to church. So you're stuck with me.

I am going to be continuing with brief weekly Maui updates for several reasons, not the

least of which is our commitment as a church to help the people of Lahaina. And the reason is

is because Jesus loves Lahaina.

And we want to get Jesus to the people of Lahaina and the people of Lahaina to Jesus.
