Mark chapter 4 it says in verse 23, if anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.

Take heed to what you hear.

For the same measure that you use, it will be measured to you.

To you who hear, more will be given.

I want to take a moment and share with you about more than your measure.

The key for expansion and acceleration. Each one of us has a measure from God, measure of faith.

We have a measure of our calling. We have a measure of our anointing, we have a measure of grace upon our life, we have a measure of God's favor upon our life.

And Jesus shares that this measure is like a standard, but then there is something you can do to increase that measure to see

acceleration and to see more to be given than your measure and surprisingly it's

not what many of us think that would be it's not you didn't say those of you

who pray more more will be. It's not, he didn't say, those of you who pray more, more will be given.

It's not those of you who will attend church more, more will be given. Or even those of us who will

fast more, more will be given. Surprisingly, he says, those of you who hear more will be given.

And so I just want to for a moment talk to you something that has been a challenge and a conviction.

And honestly, I'm reviewing my own heart today in prayer and reviewing my own time schedule and my time

consumption because few things I draw from this verse and one is that right now every one of

us is growing in some area we are all growing in some kind of area of our life. We are good.

In fact, some of us are growing in the wrong areas.

And because we are growing in the wrong areas, you know, we're not happy with that growth.

And so the word that I have for you that I want to encourage you with is that if you are growing in the wrong area, it's because you are listening to the wrong voice.

You are hearing the wrong voice.

If you are growing in the wrong area, it's because you are hearing the wrong voice.
