All right, Mindfulness Plusers, it is that time once a month.

We do an extended meditation, a little bit deeper dive into a particular area of practice.

So without further ado, I give you effortless mindfulness.

A word about this, this meditation is good for anywhere doing anything. So whatever you're doing, keep doing it. And I'm going to give you some

pointing out instructions to make it better, I hope. Notice in this moment that you are aware.

Whatever you're experiencing, whatever you're feeling, seeing, hearing.

You're experiencing all of these things because you're aware.

If you weren't already aware, there would be no experience.

There would be no human life to be had.

Because you wouldn't be aware. But as it stands, you are aware. And because you're aware, you're experiencing experience in this moment, just take a moment to fall back into this awareness, so to speak.

We spend so much time fixated on all of the objects and awareness,

all of the content of awareness.

We forget, we ignore the basic fact of awareness. We forget, we ignore the basic fact of awareness itself.

And this pure awareness, irrespective of content of any objects and awareness, it has a particular taste,

has a particular flavor. And it's a flavor subtle enough that it can be dominated by the particulars of the experiences we have in life.

But if we pay attention, if we just turn our attention one degree, so to speak,

and start to attend to awareness itself, not the content of experience.

We start to get this taste, a taste of utter simplicity,
