It's time for a brand new episode to give me the hot sauce. The NBA schedule has Stacey on the road for most of the weeks. So we are recording this episode from the lovely

Sriracha Studios on Sunday afternoon. And we're going to have a special guest coming up later. Michelle Beetle. You know her from her work at ESPN. She was also at NBC ABC.

She doesn't work for Fox as well. She's now part of the San Antonio Spurs broadcast team. The Spurs are in town to play the bulls on Monday night. But the big news of the day Kyrie Irving gets his wish.

He's going to be traded to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Spencer Dinwitty. Dorian Finney Smith who if you haven't heard much about him, he's a really good young forward a good defensive player. They also get a first round draft pick in 2029 and a couple of second round picks that also come later in this decade. So it's going to take a while.

He's going to get all the return on that. But at least they get a player in Dinwitty that can help him at least hang in there in the Eastern comments. I would think well, he's returning back to Brooklyn. So I mean, that's where he got his start. Basically, he had a really good career there.

And he was one of the reasons why Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durand wanted to come to Brooklyn in the first place to play with them in the end of moving them.

And so he's coming back back to Brooklyn. So it should be a really interesting matchup. But you know how long till Kevin Durand says I want out now.

Yeah, it's probably not long, you know, because he was tied to James Harden and Kyrie Irving. Both those guys are on different teams now. So he probably feels like he's been tricked.

Good wing, bamboozled.

You know, I came here for you guys and I couldn't win anywhere. I could stay to Golden State, you know, been playing for titles.

They'd have been one numerous titles. Of course, Golden State won the championship last year. You wonder what they would have done had Kevin Durand stayed.

You know, it was always made to be known to NBA teams during that summer free agency that it was a package deal.

If you want Kevin Durand, you're going to take Kyrie Irving and Kyrie really kind of dictated going to Brooklyn because he's from that area.

And Kevin Durand willingly went along and it's been nothing but a disaster with Kyrie being in and out of the lineup these last three years.

Well, and that's what you get for following someone who's not a leader. You know, you're following someone that's been wishy-washy as whole career.

Doesn't show up to work and play, you know, always something going on with him. Every team that he's been on, it's imploded.

You go back to Cleveland, you know, couldn't play with LeBron. Now you want to go back and play. You want to play with LeBron after you realize how hard it is to win a title without the guy.

Now you want to go back. They didn't make that trade. Lakers really didn't have anything to offer to bring him in there. Plus the Lakers from what I heard.

I only wanted to sign him to a two year deal, which that would max out to how long LeBron James contract was.

So when LeBron James contracts over, then, you know, that would they would decide whether they want to give him another deal after that.

So he didn't want to do that. And then, you know, you put him in Boston with a young Jalen Brown and Tatum, you know, where they weren't even where they are now.

And he was the main guy on that team and he couldn't find a way to get along there and imploded that team.
