Hey, it's Jamie Cave. Welcome back to the Forgotten Podcast. I am so glad you're here with me today.

If you are part of the foster care community, passionate about serving or simply interested in learning more,

we are here for you. So I hinted at this in our last episode, but this month we are officially

celebrating 10 years of ministry. I seriously cannot believe we've been at this work for 10

years, a whole decade. I think back to those early years and though much has changed and I have

learned so very much, the core of who we are is still the same. We want to help people everywhere,

support the foster care community and experience Jesus together. Jesus is our foundation and we are led and guided by his word and

his example. Friends, it is such an honor to serve you and to serve with you. I wish there were

words to explain how grateful I am for your

support of our ministry, whether through your words, your finances, your partnership, your advocacy,

whatever it is, we couldn't do this without each one of you and we are truly all in this together.

My guest is Amanda Our, a mama four who has an incredible story of walking through a difficult

journey of kinship care. You'll hear her talk about what it was like to be educated about trauma

on the, quote, fly, how difficult circumstances make our faith

more concrete and what it looks like to live a life of compassion and much, much more.
