with my husband. And my name is Connor. I'm Rebecca's husband.

Yes. So this is actually a different episode than normal.

We've been getting requests for this for a really long time and this episode we are doing so that parents and their teens can listen.

So this one is actually gonna be a teenager friendly podcast.

Yeah, this is a group activity podcast right.

Yeah, and you know before we get into it, I am going to say like we're not thinking listening to this with like eight year olds like we're going to be explicit, we're going to be using words.

It's just, we're really going to be using words. It's just we're really going to be talking

about sex and teens and how do you talk to teenagers about sex? What are we

kind of processing as we're becoming parents and kind of dealing with all

this unhealthy teaching that we've had in

the church about sexuality, what are we planning on talking to our kids?

Yeah, this is going to be all about the conversations about sex.

Mm-hmm.

So if you're not comfortable with like, you know, your kids knowing words like

clitoris and vulva and stuff, then it's already too late.

We just said them.

Yeah, no, but that's just a bit.

We are going to be talking about actual sexual things.

Yeah, but we're just gonna make this one kid friendly to the most part for the teen friendly

Team friendly. Yeah, not kid friendly, teen friendly. So I wanted to start off by having both of us kind of tell you guys what it was like for us growing up, learning about sex, what our kind of different backgrounds are.
