For Gil, he's drawn to P. Rod's elite level talent, but also his gifts.

To try new things and to think of the ultimate, ultimate tricks is something that is close to his

heart. P. Rod's style and intellect was something that through their Nike connection was also

wisdom shared in conversations with Kobe. In a sport where falling down is a given,

it's the character to get back up and keep pushing. That's what we can all draw for.

Two valley products. Yeah. And Gil, this could have been some history in the making. You're both

at Birmingham High School. Yeah. Not for a long, but if you'd have stayed there, there would have

been an overlap while you were there for a minute. If I'd have stayed there too. And neither of you

stayed there. So about going in and leaving was just things for both of us. Yeah.

It was just like the culture of the valley that you guys both came up in Hooper's skaters.

Well, technically, like, who wasn't really a thing? Skate was.
