I hope you're doing well after this absolutely crazy roller coaster of a week.

And recording on Saturday night, November 7th,

I haven't been able to record all day

because my neighborhood is so loud with cheers and honking.

And there is a go-go band on the corner that has been playing a concert

for the last four or five hours. It is just something else here in D.C. And I wouldn't be

surprised if Candice just showed up to sing some of her singles there. I should go outside and check if it was her.

But in all seriousness, I just finished watching Joe and Kamala give their first speeches

as president and vice president elect. And to see Kamala come out in that white suit with

Mary J. Blige playing was like, I mean, I have not felt

anything like that in so long. And I'm not going to, you know, spend this whole podcast talking

about politics. You guys know that is something that I care about and I work in and everything.

But I did want to mention,

you know, watching tonight and seeing Joe Biden's family on stage and then seeing Hunter Biden come

out and the embrace that Joe gave to Hunter and, you know, he came out with his wife and his baby.

And I just feel like there's so many people in

this country and around the world that have a loved one that struggles with substance abuse.
