Good evening and welcome to another exciting edition of BTL bass talk live where we are going to talk about bass fishing

So I had an evening show planned

Well for the last couple of days, because I forgot that two weeks ago, I had scheduled that I was supposed to shoot a show for Let's Fish TV and Andrew Upshaw today with Austin Cranford, which that was a whole different debacle to go try to shoot a TV show a water willow show on a lake that just dropped two foot with the jet stream pumping 40 mile an hour winds and anyway I don't want to ruin it we ended up getting a fantastic show out of it you'll have to watch it on I think it's on like Bally Sports or all sorts of different channels there but But anyway, long story short, so I'm filming for the Let's Fish TV episode.

And I checked my phone at like 2 PM.

I had it on silent, you know, we're like hooked up, he's paying for kids. It's a TV show, it's like an actual TV show, not a YouTube deal. And I had like 53 messages and 20 missed calls and I immediately like that feeling in your gut where you're like oh my God what's wrong?

Well nothing was wrong. It was just that the elite series had announced that there was no entry fees in 2025.

I already see a lot of comments in the messages about that.

Listen, there's no way to put a show together about this

in the time that it has broken, which was like 11 or 12, because no one on the face of the earth outside of, I would venture to say four people at Bass Master.

I've even heard there's people at Bass Master that didn't know this is going down.

This is like a top and down, no anglers ass deal and they dropped it no entry fees the press release

reads Bass Master elites no longer pay entry fees.

Professional bass fishing will never be the same.
