Dear Lord, another year that you have blessed us with.

It was not easy the past few years, Lord, of course, but we are thankful that we're here, Lord.

And so thank you that we have this opportunity to worship together to praise your name, Lord, the only name.

Would you be with us as we sit down and receive the teaching, Lord, that you have prepared for us this morning, Lord.

May we put anything that may be tugging at our heart, Lord.

We want to give that to you this morning, Lord, so that we can be clear-minded and focused, Lord.

So thank you for this time. Thank you for this place. We love you and we ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. We say amen.

Before we get started though, I want to take just a moment and personally thank all of you

for your generous thoughtfulness towards my family and I. I know I say this often. I hope you don't tire of me saying

it, but I truly see myself as the most spoiled pastor in the world. I'm not complaining.

I just, you guys are just over the top and I just

want to say thank you so much and you make the pastor it such a joy. You are so

thoughtful and generous towards my family and I and I just wanted to say that.
