Well, this episode of Neutral.

I sat in the Oval Office with both of the men who are running for president.

I never expected that my successor would embrace my vision or continue my policies.

I did hope for the sake of our country that Donald Trump might show some interest in

taking the job seriously, that he might come to feel the weight of the office and discover

some reverence for the democracy that had been placed in his care.

But he never did.

So this administration authoritarianism has taken root in our country.

I and my family and many of yours know the insidious way authoritarianism destroys democracy,

decency and humanity.

This president is not just the threat to our democracy, but by rejecting science, he has

put our lives and health in jeopardy.

I wish Donald Trump knew how to be a president because America needs a president right now.

Joe and Kamala can win by 3 million votes and still lose.

Take it from me.

So we need numbers overwhelming so Trump can't sneak or steal his weight of victory.

This virus, it has no eyes and yet it knows exactly how we see each other and how we treat

each other.

And let's be clear, there is no vaccine for racism.

Right now we have a president who turns our tragedies into political weapons.

The current president is cloak American darkness for much too long, too much anger, too much

fear, too much division.
