all the way to the national championship.

This Illinois team, I guess we'll start here.

Eventful day in Sweet 16 action. This Illinois team, the story with them has

been that their offense is good enough, but is their defense good enough are are they capable of

getting stops are they capable of stringing together enough possessions

defensively where they bring some effort where they're cohesive're not, you know, falling apart

with getting back cut and losing track of what

their assignments are and all that sort of stuff.

That's been kind of the story with them all year.

The offensive firepower has never been called into question.

That was true even when Terence Shannon was out

dealing with his stuff.

Illinois has been able to score the basketball. The fear when we got to the

NCAA tournament is can they guard enough because you have to do both well to

win a national championship. And I got to say, man, like they, they're not the best defensive team in the country, but the effort that they bring, and they have, they've been this way really since the Big Ten tournament.

I think they're good enough. I do. I think Illinois is playing good enough defense to win the national championship. Now they're going to have a very difficult draw obviously next game playing Yukon who looks oh my god absolutely
