Welcome to episode 11.

I have the lovely Kirstie Moore joining me for this week's episode.

Listening to our interview back, she is just so incredible and I realize I'm a little

low energy. And so I know there's been a lot of crazy news going on and I feel like

there is new news breaking every few minutes. But one of the things that

happened this week is that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend announced that they had

stillborn. And I was very, very moved by Chrissy and John's showcasing of their grief because so many people suffer in silence and are ashamed

to share their struggles. And so inspired by the honesty and the raw emotion that they shared

with us, I wanted to share something with you guys, which might explain why I sound a little different this week.

Now, before I explain myself, I in no way want to draw any comparisons between my current situation and experience and, you know, having a miscarriage or losing a baby.

It is definitely not the same thing. I was just

inspired by the level of honesty with which they have talked about their, their struggles.

Okay, so here it goes. Earlier this year in February, I went to a doctor's appointment to see if I could freeze my eggs. I have always wanted to be a mom,

and I was like, you know what, I'm 35. My window is starting to close. I know a couple people who

frozen their eggs, and it seems like a good insurance policy if I needed to do IVF down the line.
