Welcome to another exciting edition to ETL Bass Talk Live, where we are going to talk about

Bass Fishing. A little impromptu show today on the eve of a very busy day in professional bass fishing. We have Skeet

Reese getting a BPT win on the James River, a very interesting James River, one of those fisheries that's really come on over the past 10 years.

I remember when the opens, well, I mean, the fastest, and MLF have gone there in the past, but I remember when the opens first started going there they'd go like in the middle of the summer and it'd just be absolutely brutal 9 10 pounds but that Chickahomony River big player and a lot of Florida strain largemouth in that we've seen the past

couple opens it takes 20 plus a day to win when we've been there in April in May

and I'd be was real interested to see how it would shake out in the end of June and they caught the heck out of them.

A really good BPT tournament I think almost everybody was in the Chikahamini, Skeet Rees holding off Jeff Sprague to get the BPT win and then over on the elite series side

kind of went out on the final day with all 10 guys on Smith Lake with a chance to win a lot of

rookies. Trey McKinney coming in seven minutes late and then he took a call you can go to Bass Master they had a press release on that anyway

Doing stuff that I would probably have done when I was 18 or 19 years old as well and ended up finishing 92nd had like 17 pounds DQ took a phone call from a family member that was like hey

Where he at and he's like oh crap I'm supposed to be at the weigh-in which is

illegal so the crazy thing is way in which is illegal.

So the crazy thing is, I'm hearing all sorts of people saying,

oh, it's gonna screw his angler, the year chance and stuff.

The guy's only like 20 points back still,

which is unbelievable that you can basically go and get like five points and still only be
