so I don't really think we're losing a whole lot of money putting people there.

Otherwise, prisons would be as full as they're going.

There are absolutely private prisons that are not.

I mean, yes, they receive state funding, but they also get a whole lot of free labor while they're there.

No, no, no, no. Private prisons absolutely are a fiscal drain on our budgets.

They don't make up for the money that we spend in taxpayer dollars on them by the labor that they get from prisoners.
