11 of the Secret Cabal Gaming Podcast. My name is Jamie. Tony here. Hello, Brian. What's up?

This Chris. So we finally got a game of Civilization, the board game in this week.

We actually got two games in.

The first game was essentially just a learning game because I think we got together to play

miniatures games, but it didn't work out that way.

So we broke out SIV just to learn the rules.

And it was a blast.

And it's definitely a game that you need a learning game at first.

You've got to figure out all your avenues of victory and stuff.

But I had a great time.

It'll be nice to have somebody who knows the rules,

so I don't have to spend a lot of time learning them.

So one of the good things about SIV is that the rules are so simplistic.

I mean, it's a very complex game in the amount of things that you can do in the game, but the rules in general are very simplistic.

And you, I would say, I don't know, Tony, you could comment on this, but I learned the rules pretty much in two rounds of the game.

And two rounds are pretty quick.

There's a difference, though, between learning the rules and learning the strategy.

The rules were quick.

The rules are simple, but there are a lot of simple rules.
