technical space, uh-huh, imbued with technology reaching you our dear listener. How does it feel?

Would you like to see a ghost? No, no, that's a hard no, after these movies. I mean, this

might bound to pick with you, Andrea. At the end of our last episode you were like, this will be

fun talking about pulse and suicide. I don't think it's fun. I think by the end of the episode

we'll be feeling great. It feels a little, it feels a little bleak. Little nihilistic. It's bleak

and it's nihilistic but sometimes it's silly and sometimes you just gotta laugh while you throw

yourself at the mercy of this wild wacky world and whatever darkness is soon to envelop us.

So you die laughing. Yeah. That's the goal. Uh-huh. And leave a pretty corpse.

It's my long-term plan so that your ghost is hot. Yes. Yeah. Hot ghost. Hot ghost.

Andrea, hot ghost summer. I'm excited to talk to you about these films. Now you would

seen them both before. I had not seen suicide club before. Okay. Yeah. But pulse you would

seen one. Pulse I had seen probably at least 10 years ago and then I kind of come back to

periodically. I kind of knew of pulse and once I got my hands on it really enjoyed it.

And then suicide club, I only knew about because back in the day when we properly like updated our

website and used it like a blog, we did it like 31 days of Halloween. Yeah. And I think you put

suicide club like as your number one. Really? Yeah. It was like the thing to watch on Halloween.

Maybe it was up there. It's pretty high up there. So it always kind of stuck in the back of my

head. It's like, what's this about? What's interesting little film? And then, you know,

on top of it, we link these two films together. I think thematically. They're both from Japan.
