Hey there, before we get to the show, I want to cut in with a brief announcement.

Not here to sell anything this time, but rather to reinforce a policy for this show and for lots of others on the network that doesn't really get stated very often

this policy. Recent political events here in America have a lot of people kind of

of scared and dismayed and there's a very real likelihood

that things are going to get pretty bad for marginalized groups of people based on

things like race, religion, sexual orientation, gender here in the coming days and likely years.

While none of our shows are explicitly political, we are and it's going to be impossible to keep

our views from poking through in the face of this kind of changing climate. You know, we're complete people with views and

convictions and we have no interest in doing shows where we can't bring our

entire selves to the to the table. Moreover, we want to reiterate that

creating a welcoming environment for people is to use some kind of shitty business speak, a core value of the network.

We will not tolerate any kind of harassment of people, especially based on the aforementioned criteria of race,

religion, sexual orientation, and gender in our community. This isn't a political question in our eyes.

It's more of a question of humanity

and not the kind that you get from invading people.

I don't have a URL to direct you to and nothing to sell again.

Just an expectation to set.

We'll speak our minds about these issues

and likely won't respond to people who ask us to stop.
