Chris Bizignano. All dude, we're 1 in 0. Feeling really good about ourselves, as evidenced by the good mood of Twitter.

Twitter is not toxic like it's been the past few years, at least right now.

But I said it last week.

You want to know, you don't want to look ahead,

but you have three home games in a row against very beatable opponents,

but to your point, we're beatable to them as well.

And the first of those teams is the Carolina Panthers.

And Chris, correct me if I'm wrong. When I look at this team on paper, I know this sounds funny to say this, but short of the head coach, offensive coordinator and quarterback, it's a pretty good team, no? Carolina. Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah. Yeah. And I say that because I don't love Matt Rule. We know that this is the Ben McAdoo revenge game. And, you know, Baker Mayfield and Sam Donald are both question marks. But you look at the rest of that roster, Chris. It's like, it's a pretty solid outfit, buddy. Yeah. I had him win like eight or nine games, even competing for a wild card And look You throw the first game Throw the first games out the window then Yeah, I know they lost to the Browns Well first of all They lost it a 58-yard field goal Right After they're looking much better in the second half So but these first games of the season Man you see it around the league You league. You know, I remember the Packers got blown out last year the first game. They wound up winning 14 games, you know? So, you know, it's kind of like, okay, you know, teams start to settle in a little bit now, week two, week three. I don't know. Like you said, you know, this league's all about matchups. And if you remember, Jerry, I know I had Tennessee in a close one last week. You had the Giants in a close one. But if you remember when I tweeted a couple weeks before, I said, remember I said, I'm looking ahead a little bit. I like the way the Giants match up against the Titans. Remember I said, I give them a shot in this game. I think it'll be a close one in this and that and it wound up being a close one.

And you look at the, this league's all about matchups. You look at Carolina in the

matchups now with the Giants. It's a little bit of a different animal this week. You know,

Carolina could get you on the outside with the receivers. Yep. You know, they have some stuff

going on too. They got to clean up after that loss of the Browns.

But, you know, as we get into this game,

there's some matchups that really concern me,

especially now when Aaron Robinson's not going to be playing.

He had his appendix removed early in the week.

So the Giants are really thin now in corner.

And Carolina has some guys. They could go get it on the outside. And they're going to be taking shots down the field. So that's going to be one of the keys of this game, you know. But on the plus side, watching Carolina last week are looking at their game last week, they were destroyed in the run game. Yeah, they were. Don't get me wrong. You know, don't get me wrong. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunter, Nick Chubb's were the top three runnerback in the game. Yeah. But you look at the way they were hurting, Cleveland really was hitting with those gap runs. And that's something the Giants did last week. They ran more gap than zone.

And Sequin Barclay, I feel, has the potential to have another huge one in this one against Carolina.

The difference was that Tannihill didn't really hurt them on the perimeter last week.
