Rodney, let's get into it.

You are going to be in the Giants Ring of Honor against the Cowboys.

They're going to put you in that Monday night.

Take us through that day, though, when you found out because I know some giants,

like Otis Anderson, Joe Morris, they were surprised by it.

When Mara hit him with it at the practice, they were under the impression.

They were going to talk to the team, which you guys did.

But then Mara hit you guys with the Ring of Honor.

Take us through that day, Rodney.

Yeah, it was a very special day.

I was confusing to me that had me on the edge.

I had just left New York a week before. Ms. Joanne had told me that they needed me to come back through following week to talk to the team. I'm like, me? I don't talk too much. Why they need me? You know what I mean? But I told her, if she couldn't get nobody else, I do it. You know what I mean? But that's not my cup of tea, you know what I mean? so I thought that she wouldn't call me back. She said, oh no, we really need you.

So I came up there and I did it but the

day of when it was that morning we was inside you know eating brothful people kept on

coming to say congratulations congratulations and from that time I knew something

special was going on but I didn't know it was a ring of honor I just knew something special was going on, but I didn't know it was a ring of honor. I just knew something special was going on.
