And this week we're going to be looking at cookies.

What cookies again, I can hear you say, and I say yes, cookies again,

because they keep coming back in the news.

And in particular of this session, we are looking at cookie software.

And we're going to do this in two parts.

The first part, which is the part you listen to now, is we're going to look at in two parts. The first part, which is part you listen to now, is going to look at what the requirements are so we can see what we need

from the cookie software. And the second part is actually reviewing three separate items

of cookie software. So that's the plan. In the studio today, I have Karen Heaton, who comes from data protection for business, which is a DPO business, as you understand.

So yes, I'm Karen. I have over 20 years in business operations experience. I've done a lot of systems implementations of work with data, technology, financial service and regulations.

And I founded our consultancy just over two years ago,

set up primarily to assist small and medium-sized organisations with their data protection requirements.

And one of my keen areas of interests is looking at the various software solutions in the

privacy tech field out there to see which

solutions can be helpful for my clients. So that's obviously one of the reasons that Mark and I
