Welcome into Rocky Talk, the Tennessee podcast with a new home.

My name is Josh Ward.

I'm excited to be with you here today with the really start of a new era as SECCcountry.com closed down.

That meant that the podcast that SEC Country was doing every

day for Tennessee was going away as well. And I've talked about it over the last few weeks,

all the messages I've received, the questions, comments about what might happen with the show.

And I didn't really have an answer. I thought, okay, could we maybe take it to another website?

And maybe that's

something that ends up happening. But with the end of scccountry.com approaching, I decided I don't

want the podcast to go away. I don't want it to die. I think it's been a really good run over the

last two years. And really, for me, personally, it's meant a lot that so many Tennessee fans reached out and said, hey, this podcast is where I go either every day or on a pretty regular basis to find out about what's going on with Tennessee.

And it has been a daily podcast the last two years, which I will say has been a pretty big time commitment doing a podcast every day along with

the radio show that I do on a daily basis with WNML and Knoxville. And that will continue. I'm still

going to be hosting Sports 180 with Will West on WNML. But I didn't want the podcast to go away,

so I'm going to keep it going. And I don't know exactly what the plan is.

Right now, my plan is to probably do a couple of days a week and we'll see what happens

as football season approaches.

We're still in the middle of the off season.

There's not quite as much going on.

I'll tell you that I could probably use a bit of a break right now from doing five days a week.

But there's still plenty to discuss with Tennessee's football team and Tennessee athletics.

And practice will be here right around the corner.
